BROOKSIDE GARDENS BUTTERFLY EXHIBIT-WINGS OF FANCY

Explore the amazing world of butterflies and caterpillars up close and personal with a private tour through the Wings of Fancy Exhibit. Participants will work on speech, language, and social communication skills will engaging with volunteers and peers. The amazing world of insects, butterflies, and plants awaits!

4:00-5:00 (Ages 5+)
Explore the theme: "Salamanders, Sea Horses & Slime"
through hands-on arts and crafts activities that you can take home. All materials provided. Led by licensed speech-language pathologist.
Children will work on speech, language, and social communication skills through interacting with peers, sequencing steps, describing materials, and telling a story with their craft.
COST: $20.00 per participant

WHERE: Brookside Nature Center
WHEN: 3:30-5:00pm
Participants will explore the animals
at Brookside Nature Center and learn
about their superhero abilities (animal adaptations).
After meeting 2-3 critters indoors, we’ll transition to the outdoor sites in hopes of viewing additional animal superheros in the WILD!
As always, Speech, Language & Social Skills will be woven into the program which is led by our speech-language pathologist and nature guide. The theme will include discussion about "adapting to" (how we speak, behave, and socialize) in different environments.
